Remarks:

Club (known as “Club Cosmetics Co. Ltd.株式会社クラブコスメチックス” since 1971), originally known as Nakayama Taiyoudou (中山太陽堂, est. 1903 by Nakayama Taichi中山 太一  in 1903), was used as the company’s trade mark since 1905. Club was one of the big four in the cosmetics industry in Japan during Meiji era (明治 1868 – 1912). The twin girls illustration was used as its logo from the early days of the company and still can be found nowadays in its products, with a slightly modified version. The company based in Osaka has a museum of the company’s history, where you can find all products and related history. See more about Club Cosmetics Co. Ltd. at http://www.clubcosmetics.co.jp/. 

This product is called “Club Bisin Cream” (クラブ美身クリーム) which is a moisturiser and also used as make up base. First launched in 1911, it has been a long seller product of Club Cosmetics till today. This package design is  used during pre-war period for the product.
