Remarks:

The Armand Company was formed in 1916 by Carl Weeks in the U.S., which was a major face powder seller at that time. The French sounding ‘Armand’ name was complemented by the use of Louis XVI imagery in early packaging and advertising. This lipstick in an oval metal tube container is a typical style in late 1910s and 1920s.
